Marc and Pamela Osmun's Pride & Joy!
1959 Convertible
|
|
A little history: I traced the car back to 1977, when
David Niles Rosen sold it to Ronald Ajemian (Liverpool Country Club) for $1,498.00. Ron did a "frame off" in 1982 (I'm
lucky to have all the pictures) and in 1997, sold it to my very good friend Larry Barnes for around $20K
(nice profit for 20 years of fun & storage). Larry enjoyed it until 2002 when I purchased it from him (Larry swore
me to secrecy on the price). Pam & I love this car and can't imagine ever selling it. I've
done a lot of work to the car since then including new paint during the winter of 2004-05. After enjoying
my club membership back in the 70's (I think I had my '63 then), we thought it was time to re-join into all
the comradely the club has to offer. Unfortunately (or fortunately) my other friend Kenny Zoanetti let me drive
his 2004 the other day and if that wasn't enough, he also let my wife drive it!.... Not that I would ever replace my "59 but....,
it looks like we may also be in the market for a low mileage C-5 in the near future. Keep your eyes open for us.
